I fibbed a bit when I said that my first client was the lovely lady who writes over at The Storm Dweller's Tales.  In actuality, my very first client was prior to deciding what name I wanted to use for my design business.  I designed and maintain the site for XXCultRadio. This was my very first attempt at using Flash, and I had to learn it from scratch.  And yet somehow I managed to retain my sanity, at least what passes for sanity.  So, if you'd like to see a bit more of what I can do, you can go take a gander.  Not only will you see the absolute best site for any internet radio station internet-wide, but you'll hear the only radio station anywhere, that plays 60 years of Rock-n-Roll.

This is a service that I hope will be the bulk of my design business.  However, as time permits, I will be making posts that will give you a preview of a theme I recently created.  To try and protect my work, I will only be posting a picture preview of what the theme will look like.  If you're interested in buying the design, you can leave me a comment on that specific, with an email address where I can reply to you.  The price will be listed for each of my themes in the body of the post specific to that theme.  Once you've confirmed that you're interested in purchasing a theme, I'll send you a link to a paypal account where you can send the money.  Once I've received confirmation of your payment, you will then receive an email from me, with all the necessary files that will ensure your theme looks just like it displays in the preview picture.  If you like a theme, but you'd like me to modify it a bit just for you, I will be more than happy to do so.  This will cause the theme to cost more than is quoted, and it will depend on how much time it takes me to do the alterations.  I am estimating that personalization shouldn't cost more than $5.00 over the original asking price for the theme in question.

Now, if you've got a layout in mind, and you've got a graphic that really speaks to you, you can always email me, and we can sit down with either google talk or skype to hash out the time I expect it to take me to work up a mock-up for you, and what the final cost will be, depending on how detailed you're wanting your theme to be.   I will tell you up front, that regardless of how much work it takes me, the most you will ever pay for a personalized theme will be $50.00, and this will include up to five follow-up sessions to ensure that your theme looks exactly the way you want it to.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and may your designs always be amazing.
My very first client, was someone who is a very dear friend of mine.  Her blog can be found by clicking right here.  It was my absolute pleasure to design a theme for her that really captured everything she blogs about, and the things in life she gets joy out of.  I'm so glad that she's been so happy with it, and as my muse strikes, I might even do a couple more for her, so she can switch it up from time to time.  Why?  Because I love her, and because I can.
Welcome to Valued Jewels Design.  Right now, I'm working on a few designs for blog themes.  These themes, at first, will be available to those of you who blog with Blogger.  However, as some time goes by, and I get the opportunity, I will be creating themes for other blog formats, such as WordPress, LiveJournal, and movable types.  I am working towards having some themes going for those of you out there who use Joomla, drupal, and DotNetNuke.  For now, I welcome you to the bright shiny of my design blog.  Once this thing gets kicking, I'll move up and get my own domain, but here is where you'll find me for now.  Hang on, it's going to be a lovely and wonderful ride.
